OFF WHITE HOUSE BULLETIN 1200 HRS 1 OCT 16

Received yesterday at 1000 hrs PST from Chris Ryall, Editor-in-Chief IDW Publishing:

I saw an advance of the Cerebus Covers book this week and it looked amazing. It really feels like a book not only worth the wait but something that people are going to love.

For what it's worth, I see Amazon is giving a November 8 release date for this and a hardback price of $49.70.

Aside from the title change it looks like this is now a single volume release instead of two volumes. Did I miss that being announced somewhere?

I don't remember it ever being a 2 volume set, unless it was discussed that way before it was actually solicited. IIRC, it was originally solicited for a January 2015 release date. Hope my order with my shop is still valid!

this seems like progress is being made. I placed my pre-order on Amazon nearly two years ago, and they keep bringing the date foreward then pushing it back. It was brought forward to Oct, then pushed to Nov a couple of weeks ago.

THANK you, Kevitch.

It's a nice surprise that this will be coming out next month!

Is this new (and marvelously designed) cover drawn entirely by Gerhard?

Kousmichoff—it's the cover to Cerebus #91. The irregular edge is the bleed area, i.e. the extra bit of artwork created so that the trimmed cover could have the image area go all the way to the edge.

I printed Chris Ryall's comment without comment because this is in the "I'll believe it when I see it -- and probably not even then" category. :)

By the way, THE REMASTERED GOING HOME has arrived at Diamond as of today so everyone can start asking their LCS's when it's going to show up on the system. There is a gap between arrival and when it actually becomes available -- a wider gap in the UK than in North America.

They've stuck with the original order code: STAR10981 and there is ZERO danger of getting the unmastered version because their inventory has been at "0" for months now.

Amazing REMASTERING job by Sean and noticeably HEAVIER, although pretty close to the same size.

Also, the remastered Going Home is available in the new Previews magazine, so you can ask your shop owner (if you've got a local shop) to turn to page 252 and order it from there.

Travis - Thanks, Travis! We always like to remind people where they can get the new remastered book!

Really looking forward to this book. I have one of the original covers - Cerebus and Jupiter - but never heard back from IDW if they wanted a scan. Still, can't wait to look at all of these marvelous pieces.
